The hydraulic station acts as the power core of automated equipment. If the oil temperature stays above 60°C for a long time, the hydraulic oil will degrade rapidly, components will wear out, and unexpected equipment shutdowns will occur. Air-cooled heat exchangers are widely used cooling accessories for hydraulic stations.

Working Principle

High-temperature hydraulic oil flows into the heat exchanger core. The fan blows air across the cooling fins to dissipate heat from the oil. Cooled oil flows back to the hydraulic station for recirculation.

Main components: heat exchange core, cooling fan, oil ports, temperature control switch (automatically turns the fan on/off to save energy).

Installation Guidelines

1. Install in well-ventilated areas away from heat sources such as motors and oil pumps. Reserve at least 30 cm of space beside the fan to avoid hot air recirculation.

2. Secure the unit firmly with a bracket to reduce vibration and prevent oil leakage at pipe connections.

3. Connect the oil inlet to the hydraulic station outlet and the oil return port to the oil tank; seal all joints tightly.

4. Match the wiring voltage to the equipment rating and complete proper insulation protection.

Operation & Routine Maintenance

1. Blow dust off cooling fins with compressed air weekly to prevent blockages and poor heat dissipation.

2. Never operate beyond the rated pressure and flow rate.

3. Inspect the fan regularly; repair it promptly if abnormal noise or stalling happens.

4. Fit a protective mesh for dusty workshops; add rain and sun shields for outdoor installation.

Proper installation and maintenance keep stable hydraulic oil temperature, extend service life for the entire hydraulic system, and guarantee continuous production.
